Meredith Castro
Language Arts Teacher; Academic Services Department Chair; PBIS Coordinator
With 25 years of experience in education, I have proudly dedicated the last 24 years to serving the students of Esperanza High School. In my role as a Language Arts Teacher, I teach ERWC, LA IV, LA III, and Algebra 1B, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and enriching educational experience. Additionally, I serve as the Academic Services Department Chair and the PBIS Coordinator, where I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
As the PBIS Coordinator, I actively contribute to the school's Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports initiative, working to promote positive behavior and create a culture of respect and inclusivity throughout the campus.
A true product of this district, both my husband and all three of my children are graduates of Esperanza High School. This deep connection to the community fuels my passion for education and my commitment to the success of every student.
On a personal note, I am proud to be a part of the Esperanza High School family, where my favorite things are the students and my colleagues. It is a place where everyone can learn and feel confident about who they are as individuals.
